Ben Harrow Photography
Documentary photography of coastal industry and the people who work it
Ongoing bodies of work
Years-long studies of coastal communities, fishing grounds, and the infrastructure that supports them. Each project documents change, labour, and the continuity of working life on the water.
Shown and published
The work has been exhibited in three shows and published in two national magazines. Each piece documents a specific moment in working life on the coast, built through sustained presence and direct observation.
Available for editorial work
A small number of commissions are taken each year, usually reportage and portrait work. Happy to travel. If you're an editor or curator with a project in mind, see the commission brief or get in touch directly.
